Nice pic Matthew! Keep 'em coming!
I drink coffee out of thermal cups, so that mug just sat in my kitchen cupboard for months. I was so pleased when it occurred to me to use it as a pen holder.
Sweet. Now just buy yourself a PiDP-11 to go with it.
While waiting for my Pier 39 to Golden Gate Bridge and back again ship tour, this gull came and perch in front of me.
Taken with a Pixel 3 with a 58mm lens from Moment
On a side note thank you @Olsenmike for keeping the photo thread alive!
That has a similar effect to Ian Thomson’s cow picture. Looks like it’s floating in mid air, though at least this one flies
Yes, it is an interesting image, but the seagull looks like it has been poorly photoshopped onto the image.
Iain Thomson’s cow pic, also taken on a pixel:
There must be something about the Pixel’s processing that produces this effect, given the right lighting conditions.
I’ve had something similar on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro and P20. When taking photos of people, the heads seem to be bigger than normal and don’t fit on the bodies properly, when the AI is switched on.
I was at a wedding and all the family photos look like I have a family of nodding head dolls!
LOL! One of the unforseen side effects of computational photography.
When I had a Pixel 2, I noticed that portrait mode produced more artificial looking photos than the iPhone. Subjects looked like cardboard cutouts.
@ttomab That is truly beautiful, Thank You.
