Lawrence of Arabia is leading with 3 picks, but Big Trouble in Little China and 5th Element are close behind with 2.
Pirates of the Caribbean
Avatar
Mary Poppins
Dr. Strange
Tremors
although I’d probably come up with a different 5 next week
Brain Candy… Kids in the hall
Idiocracy
Star Wars… all of them
What we do in the shadows… movie and tv show
Primer
I love sci-fi movies, but here are some favourites from all genres:
Heat
LA Confidential
The Usual Suspects
Cube
Aliens
Terminator 2
The Empire Strikes Back
This is a great movie! I’m not sure how re-watchable it is, because it’s like The Sixth Sense, once you know the secret it’s a very different movie.
Indeed. It’s one of those movies you watch twice to see if you saw the clues.
Badass supreme- Keyser Söze
The Quiet Man
Casablanca
War Games
The Longest Day
Avengers (all)
LA Confidential and The Usual Suspects are hovering around the top 10 for me. Excellent movies. I love re-watching The Usual Suspects and picking up on things I’ve missed.
Rear Window
Aliens
Birds
Bullitt
Battle: Los Angeles
A bit eclectic, but there you go…
eclectic but good… loved Hitchcock
A Clockwork Orange
The first Matrix
Star Wars A New Hope
Avatar
West Side Story
No particular order here, just movies that I can watch every few years and never tire of! My husband cringes whenever I watch West Side Story because he knows I’ll be singing for days afterwards!
The Princess Bride. As you wish.
My girlfriend had never seen that - we watched it two days ago. She really liked it
interesting choice with A Clockwork Orange…must admit it is a heck of a film…all hail Stanley Kubrick
Oh boy…Here we go:
- Singing in the Rain
- Breakfast Club
- Billy Madison
- The Lion King
- Bad Boys 2
My husband and I saw it when it first came out. It was a very unique movie for its day. We both just loved it, twisted as it is… and great social commentary for its day.
- Stargate
- Big Trouble in Little China
- Avatar
- Dances With Wolves
- Indiana Jones and… everything except the Crystal Skull
I’m surprised I didn’t include any Marvel movies in that, but I’ve not rewatched those as much as the above list.
That was a total disaster of a movie. There is supposedly a fifth Indy movie due in 2021.
Love that film. I remember seeing it at the theater when I was a kid.
