Podcast chapters

Although the opportunity to add some timing information might come in post-production, when the show is edited to make the download files.

Now that Google has this audio technology that allows you to search clips for specific text, I would bet this is not too far out. It might be as easy as feeding the clips through a server and outputting that text, then an employee can arrange the episode accordingly and post to the site or rss feed.

You can add chapters to mp3 files, using something like this software, which has support for the ID3 v2.3 standard.

Update: TNW 105 doesnā€™t have chapters in my player. The difference appears to coincide with the format of the timing links in the Description:
TNW 105: [bullet] [open bracket] time[close bracket] = no chapter values.
TNW 104: [dash] [space] [open bracket] time [close bracket] = clickable chapter values.
Of course I donā€™t know if thereā€™s something else in the values in the podcast mp3 file data that caused my player to display chapter values for TNW 104.
