New MacBreak Weekly just dropped:

What we cover:
:mobile_phone: iPhone 17e arrives as Apple’s “Enough” phone – finally a budget option that doesn’t feel like a compromise
:rocket: M5 Pro and M5 Max chips tear through professional workflows on the new MacBook Air lineup
:artist_palette: iPad Air gets the M4 treatment, plus we spotted some wild new Studio Display models including that XDR beast
:zipper_mouth_face: MacBook Neo accidentally leaked – Apple’s got some surprises up its sleeve
:warning: Apple Intelligence servers sitting mostly empty? We dig into why adoption isn’t hitting expectations

This episode’s packed with real talk about what Apple’s actually shipping versus what we thought we’d get.

Let me know which segment hit hardest for you.

Andy’s pick – a Selk Bag Onesie – is revolting:

If I came across someone wearing one, I would superglue the zippers shut and proceed to Smoot-measure the length of Harvard Bridge. 364.4 Smoots ±1εar is the original value.
The new ruler’s measure may differ. If Andy wanted a really warm set of outerwear, get a jacket and pants made with Aerogel Foam. MIT PhD Stephen Steiner founded Aerogel Technologies; a derivative is really great for ultralight winter insulation. The company is virtually right in his backyard.

I liked Christina’s ATP shirt. But outside of that: I found this episode a bit hard to listen to without Leo or Jason Snell. I didn’t finish the episode live. I’m sure I’ll listen to it fully later though and report back.

I got a little bored; potentially because I had already heard most of the Apple news so far.

I find the frequent use of “crutch words” (umm, like, y'know’s, etc) to be highly distracting, and there was a section of the content that was really loaded with them. I would recommend anyone who has the opportunity to be recorded while speaking to re-listen to themselves afterwards and try and reduce the future occurrences of disfluencies.

Aaarrrrrggghh the “like”: drives me nuts - it’s the back-to-front baseball cap of the spoken word…
