This episode is right on time. I have been looking into buying my first flash. I was told in the beginning not to worry about a flash because there is plenty to learn without it. I think that idea stayed with me for too long.

Thanks. I’m in the party that would tell people not to worry about flash in the beginning. It’s a different animal when one should worry more about good framing and understanding the [exposure triangle](https://twit.tv/shows/hands-on-photography/episodes/2?autostart=false). I’m still working on the next phase of the flash photography episodes. I’ll discuss use cases (again), placement, modifiers, power, constant light, etc. Will be a few episodes because it’s a lot to consider.
