Hope this is OK for this group…I am unable to connect to [news.grc.com](http://news.grc.com) to be able to read and post on topics…I have used Quiet on Windows, Akregator on Pop OS, Firefox browsers. Just doesn’t seem to connect to [news.grc.com](http://news.grc.com). Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Newsgroups are email based so you will find many email clients support it.
For dedicated tools you can find plenty of suggestions here [https://alternativeto.net/tag/newsgroups/](https://alternativeto.net/tag/newsgroups/)

It’s more likely that you haven’t followed the instructions specifically. Steve has specific rules for his custom news server, so you need to make sure you follow those or you will get rejected.

Yeah good point. The user and password system is different than you expect.
