Most of the topics these days seem to be philosophical instead of anything with practical usefulness. I don’t know if this is because Randall had contacts that Doc doesn’t? Or is it because Doc isn’t interested in that style of show. Whatever the reason, I’ve stopped watching. I’m sure there is a very small subset of people who care about the philosophy of open source… but the rest of us just want to be introduced to new and interesting projects and tools.

I totally agree with PHolder’s comment. I expected review or discussion about open source software I could download and try out. The show has not. been about specific packages and instead concentrated on abstract issue associated with open source. I too have stopped watching but I check in weekly to see if things have changed
