DVD directly to iPad Air

I am looking for a way to rip DVDs directly to an iPad Air 3. Without using a computer

Even if an external DVD player could be hooked up with the USB Camera Connection Kit, I don’t think the software exists in the app store to rip DVDs.

My suggestion is not what you want but what you want is very niche I suspect. Instead you could probably set up some sort of remote control situation using a Mac (or a PC)… but I suspect you really want a server to host the content and stream it to your iPad anyway. I would get the movies onto a Mac/PC/NAS running a Plex server.

Sadly that’s just the best settings to watch the resulting file on your iPad.

There is no way to rip a DVD on iPad.
