I agree with the emailer about the Android app tool bars all moving to the bottom - never good on a touch interface to have two rows so close. I regularly hit a nav button when trying to select something 😡

Gestures for nav looks nice but just isn’t reliable once you put a thicker case on, like the Spigens I use.

Just like dark mode, it seems like this should be something that a system-wide config would be helpful to users.

That would be perfect. Toggle the tools bars from the top or bottom of the display with a system-wide switch. Firefox is the only app that currently offers this in its settings.

I understand why this is a trend. One-handed operation and you don’t have to stretch to the top of the screen. Just give us the option to change it 🙂
